Marathon literary competition "Literary Panorama 2023"
Cronopediada offers you a marathon literary contest starting from April 1, 2023 and until December 31, 2023 under the generic name "Literary Panorama 2023".
The marathon will be held in 9 monthly editions, with each edition having 30/31 daily episodes (depending on the number of days in the month of the edition). Each edition has as its generic the name of the month it takes place (April, May, June...).
Both Cronopedia.ning members and external members of the associated pages (https://cronopediada.wordpress.com/, Cronopediadans's facebook) participate.
Participants will post daily, within each monthly episode, a literary text from the genres, literary forms specified below. The minimum number of texts within an edition must be 20). The text will have a length between 1 and 40 lines (including free lines). Texts longer than 40 lines will be divided into chapters of a maximum of 40 lines each, numbered accordingly (e.g. Title 1, Title 2, etc.)
The accepted literary categories are (to be specified according to the title of each work):
1. poetry (any kind of poetry, specified as subtitle, e.g. quatrain, fable, sonnet, etc.)
2 prose poem/poetic prose
3. prose/short prose/very short prose
4. essay
5. dramaturgy (scenes)
6. interview, dialogue
7. diary, memories, biographies
8. reporting
9. editorial
The way to publish texts on the Cronopedia website is as follows:
Within the group CRONOPEDIADA GRUP, each author will post a first discussion with the title: Author's first name, country of origin, April 2023 edition, and in the body of the post the title and category of participation and then its text. Next, for the following days of participation, the texts will be posted in the comments (they will be identified by the date of posting). In the Comments section of the author's post, no other comments will be allowed outside of the participating texts. Any opinions can be expressed on the side column in the Opinions section.
In the external spaces https://cronopediada.wordpress.com/ and Cronopediada's facebook, all participating texts are posted in comments/replies to the post made by the organizers with the title Name, surname, author, country of origin, April 2023 edition. For those who are not Interested Cronopedia members will send a request to cronostaifas@gmail.com. Also, the participating texts can be sent to the same contact email address with the mention LITERARY PANORAMA 2023.
Rewards, prizes and diplomas
In each edition, the following prizes/diplomas will be awarded
1. The author with the most posted texts (minimum 20)
2. The author with the most texts in the same category (minimum 15)
3. The most popular author identified exclusively by no. of likes received cumulatively for all participating texts.
4. The most popular text identified exclusively by no. of likes received within an edition.
Special prizes:
The author who cumulates 1st place 3 times in the Author with the most posted texts category will receive the diploma and the SPECIAL LITERARY PANORAMA prize and the corresponding texts will be included in a volume published online in the Cronopedia Library. After awarding such a special award, the counter for that author is reset.
For the author who accumulates the most texts in the same category at the end of the season, the special prize LITERARY PANORAMA - category - 2023 is awarded.
For the author who accumulates the most popularity awards at the end of the season, the special LITERARY PANORAMA award - the most popular author - 2023 is awarded.
Finally, at the end of the season, the 2023 LITERARY PANORAMA GRAND PRIZE is awarded to the author who accumulates the most special prizes.
